- Purchase/subscription details processed by Apple App Store and RevenueCat.

- App activity (e.g., journals, timeline interactions, settings), used to operate core features.
- Basic analytics to help improve stability and user experience (aggregate, non-selling).
1.3 Device & Diagnostics
- Crash reports and performance logs (e.g., OS/app version, device model, approximate timestamps).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide app features (journals, timeline, AI coach, widgets).
- Sync data securely between partners when you link accounts.
- Improve reliability and performance; detect and fix bugs.
- Process subscriptions and entitlements (via Apple / RevenueCat).
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that enable the app:
- Apple App Store — in-app purchases, receipts, basic diagnostics.
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlements.
- Firebase / Firestore — authentication and secure data sync.
- Other providers — if we integrate analytics, crash reporting, or AI features (e.g., Amii, the AI coach). These services are bound by their own privacy policies.
4. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence (for example, in the United States or Europe). We take steps to ensure adequate protections are in place for such transfers.
5. Data Storage, Retention & Security
- Data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) and/or locally on your device.
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS); access is restricted to essential operations.
- We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as required to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data.
- Access & Update: Edit your details in the app.
- Delete Data: Email help+amoura@namanjain.dev to request deletion.
- Opt-Out: Uninstall the app to stop further collection.
- Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a portable format (where legally applicable).
7. Children’s Privacy
Amoura is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Legal Compliance
We may disclose your information if required to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users.
9. AI Features
Some features, such as Amii (the AI coach), process text you provide to generate responses. This content is transmitted securely to our service providers for processing. We do not use this data to train external models, and it is not shared with third parties beyond what is required to enable functionality.

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the date above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app.
